Text Box: Text Box: Text Box: Text Box: The village of Çukurbaĝ we see today dates back to the 1920s, shortly after the population exchange with neighbouring Greece. This area is at the heart of ancient Lycia and there has been a settlement on the site for thousands of years. The remains of the Lycian city of Phellos can still be seen, overlooking Bademli and the rest of the village.
