Text Box: Text Box: Text Box: Text Box: About the developer The developer behind the houses at Bademli is a consortium of four British investors, working with a local Turkish business manager. The design and construction team in Kaş is led by Robin Tassell FRICS, who was development director at Akeler Developments Ltd (now Goodman International), developing business space across Europe for global corporations. An early advocate of sustainable development, Akeler built Europe’s first ‘solar office’, and its buildings were used by the Building Research Establishment as a benchmark for its BREEAM environmental standards. Before joining Akeler, Robin was UK managing director for Swedish investor/developer NCC. He was a former board director of the Connell Wilson chain of estate agencies and UK president of CoreNet Global, the worldwide association for corporate real estate professionals. Robin has lived in Kaş since 2004. Bademli’s architectural advisor is Hatice Havle Aşkar, a graduate from the faculty of architecture at Middle East Technical University in Ankara. She began her own architectural practice in 2004, based in Fethiye, having completed extensive experience with national and international construction companies in Ankara, Kalkan and Fethiye.
